Meet the Carr Family

We met up at 8:30 am for this session and I'm so glad, the lighting was perfect. And what a fun, photogenic bunch!

This one is sure to put a smile on your face!

1,2,3,4,5 . . . 25!!!!

I had the priveledge of photographing this (very large) family of 25! Our biggest challenge was finding a patch of shade to fit them into. We took these at 11am when the sun was blazing bright!

Busy, Busy Weekend!

This was the first family I was able to photograph over the weekend. Meet my husband's Aunt & Uncle and cousins - the Hemenways. They are only able to get the whole family together about once a year, so it was time for some family pictures. Here are a few of my faves. Stay tuned, because I have two other family sessions to share.

Just for Fun!

Chloe was such a sport tonight and even let me pick out her outfit! I'm lovin' this big weed patch in the field in front of our house - the weeds are in full bloom. I thought I better hurry and get some pics before they swath the hay and they are gone.

This is my husband laughing at us when he sees us coming out the front door and wanting to know how much I had to pay her to get her to wear that. I think she looks super cute!

Hannah . . .

They really don't come any cuter than this! And I must say, I have never had such a cooperative toddler. She not only smiled, but laughed on cue, every time. My sis has started this really cute little girls' clothing line and we sweet talked Hannah's parents into letting her model for us. Hope

One of the best parts of being a photographer is being able to watch little ones grow up. When I started out last fall I was blessed enough to photograph quite a few newborns. Lately I've been able to do their 6 months pictures and I have just loved it. Little miss Hope still receives the honor of being my sleepiest newborn ever, and she also has been my first 6 month old to fall asleep during her session! But no complaints from me, it made some really sweet pictures.

And now . .

Beautiful . . .

My camera (& I) just fell in love with Miss Chloe & Miss Emma. They were such naturals, it was impossible to take a bad picture!

And of course Gabe & Anna were equally as adorable, but getting their picture taken was not high on their priority list! So I just followed them around and snapped away.
